Having issues with a bill or medication coverage? Click here!

Our practice partners with trusted third-party billing platforms such as Grow Therapy, Headway, and Alma to handle insurance claims and billing on our behalf. As a small, family-run practice, we focus on being the experts in your mental health care, while these organizations specialize in the complexities of insurance and billing. This partnership allows us to stay in-network with more insurance plans, reduce billing errors, and dedicate more of our time to your care.

Because of this, the name that appears on your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or insurance claim may not always show My Wellness Psychiatry, LLC or the provider you saw. Instead, it may list the third-party billing group we use. Please know this is completely normal and does not affect your coverage or care—it’s simply part of how claims are processed.

If you ever have questions about a charge, you are always welcome to contact our office directly. We’ll do our best to help clarify and assist you as much as possible. In some cases, if we are unable to resolve your request directly, we may refer you to the instructions provided on this page—or connect you with our billing partners—since they are the experts in all things insurance and billing.

Self-Pay & Prior Authorization(s)

If you find yourself dealing with a billing issue that does not fall under one of the above-listed billers, please do not hesitate to send a detailed email regarding your concern to support@mywellnesspsychiatry.com. We will do our absolute best to resolve your issue in a timely manner.
If you ever experience an issue with your medication not being covered by insurance, please also email us right away rather than waiting until your next appointment. In some cases, insurance companies require providers to complete additional forms (called prior authorizations) in order to approve certain medications—this may be what is happening with your prescription. To avoid delays, please send us an email with as much detail as possible or use the Contact Us section of our website.
While we work on our end, we also encourage you to check cost-saving options such as GoodRx or searching for a manufacturer coupon for your medication online, as these can sometimes help reduce out-of-pocket costs.
